The Curmudgeon's Stylebook . . .
. . . forms the core of Chapter 10 of my book, "Lapsing Into a Comma." My contract with the publisher, Contemporary Books, limits the overlap between the book and this site, and so I was reluctantly forced to eliminate the stylebook portion of the site.

So where's the content?
Good question. Watch the home page, where I will continue to post new material as well as answers to your questions. You'll also find my most vociferous rants, as always, in the SHARP POINTS section of the site, which remains intact, overlap with the book and all. (The publisher limited overlap but didn't forbid it.)

There's more new content in the form of CARETS AND STICKS, a forum for mini-rants.

And, of course, readers interested in the field of copy editing can read all about it in the WHAT EXACTLY IS A COPY EDITOR? section.
